Semester- and summer-long internships are available for students interested in the following program areas: Self-Sufficiency, LCORE, Reception & Placement, Development, and Extended Programs.
Our physical office remains closed at this time due to COVID-19, so our internship program is currently hybrid (remote and in-person). We are currently accepting applicants who are interested in the following program areas: Development, Self-Sufficiency Programs, LCORE (Language, Cultural Orientation and Readiness for Employment), Reception and Placement (R&P), and our Extended Programs.
You can read the Internship Program Descriptions here. The Extended Programs intern will provide support for the Women’s, Youth , Mental Wellness, and intensive case management programs.
All internships are unpaid. Interns are reimbursed for mileage but are otherwise responsible for all costs of living. We are happy to support interns who wish to get academic credit for their work with Exodus. Internship commitments vary but preference will be given to applicants who are available for a minimum of 16 hours per week for 10 weeks or more.
If you would like to be considered for the fall internship program, please submit an application between Tuesday, July 6, 2021 through Monday, August 2, 2021 to be considered. Fall 2021 interns must be available all day on Friday, August 20, 2021 for virtual orientation.
To apply, please complete an internship application here. You will be asked to attach your cover letter and resume in the application. Development and Communications interns must also include 2 writing samples. If you have any questions, contact Jericho Jones at email@example.com.
