Indiana employers interested in hiring refugees can be assured that refugees require no sponsorship, are fully authorized by the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services to work in the U.S., and are eligible for any position not requiring U.S. Citizenship.

Refugees are recognized for their strong work ethic and commitment to becoming self-sufficient. Refugees also contribute their diverse vocational backgrounds and expertise to the workplace

We work with Indiana employers to provide them with:

  • Education on the value of hiring refugees
  • Pre-screening of applicants
  • Assistance during the hiring process
  • Interpreters for training or orientation
  • On-site follow-up

Exodus’ Employment Services specialize in the placement of refugees, asylees, Special Immigrant Visa (SIV) holders, Certified Victims of Human Trafficking, and Cuban/Haitian Parolees in the Indianapolis area. Exodus works with both small business owners and large national companies in Central Indiana to create successful partnerships.

Some of the free services Exodus can provide to employer partners include:

  • Access to a large and diverse workforce with a range of educational and skills backgrounds.
  • Recruitment and screening assistance of applicants to find candidates that meet employers’ needs.
  • On-site training and support for new hires.
  • Post-placement follow-up to increase long-term success.
  • Up-front interpretation services for interviews, orientation, and training.

Employers can be assured that refugees are:

  • Legally admitted into the country by the U.S. Government.
  • Authorized to work immediately upon arrival to the U.S.A.
  • Dependable, responsible, and hardworking employees that are ready to begin careers in their new city.
