As the chief executive officer for Exodus Refugee Immigration Inc., the Executive Director overseas the fiduciary, resource development and programmatic responsibilities of the agency. to refugees is carried out. It is the Executive Director's responsibility to ensure that the mission and vision of the agency is upheld in all programs and services and that a diverse and creative staff is hired, trained and supported to carry out comprehensive and compassionate services to all clients of the agency. In addition the Executive Director develops community partnerships and joint programs and participates in various speaking engagements. The Executive Director reports to the Exodus Board of Directors.
Nathan Ferreira

Nate manages and supervises the Reception and Placement Program, Pre-Arrival Process, Match Grant Program, Language and Cultural Orientation Program and the Volunteer and Sponsorship Program. He also conducts 30-day, 90-day, and 180-day spot checks of case files, case notes, home visits and program outcomes.

Elisa overseas special services offered at Exodus. In addition she supervises the IHCDA's Individual Development Account program which offers refugees an opportunity to save money for homes, businesses, education and vehicles for employment. She works with the Muslim Alliance of Indiana to coordinate immigration services to refugees. Elisa also provides case-mangement services to certified victims of human trafficking.

Cindy is one of two English Language and Cultural Orientation Coordinator at Exodus. She prepares inventive, interactive, and cultural education based curriculum for the English classes offered each week. In addition, she teaches some of the classes, coordinates volunteers, and incorporates staff, client and volunteer feedback into the program.

Cole Varga

The Match Grant program is an employment based alternative to Indiana's welfare program. Cole provides services that assist newly arrived clients to achieve self-sufficiency within their first 6 months in Indianapolis. Services include employment support, financial assistance, cultural orientation, financial literacy and English classes.
Thlasui Tluangneh (Sui)

Sui is a Reception and Placement(R&P) Case Worker who in addition to providing case management to his caseload, specializes in the welfare benefits available to refugees. Sui also orients the refugee community about the services available to them through Exodus.
Neminoo Sakuthay (Nemin)

As a Reception and Placement caseworker, Nemin works primarily with the Karen and Karenni ethnic groups from Burma. In addition to his R&P responsibilities, Nemin assists with some employment services.

As a Reception and Placement caseworker, Sui Siang works primarily with the Chin, an ethnic group from Burma. In addition to her R&P responsibilities, Siang assists with some special cases.
Amanda Dindiyal Santana

Amanda keeps the R&P program running smoothly by coordinating transportation, interpretation, and other appointments for various client services. She works closely with newly arrived refugees providing intensive case management services and assists them with setting up social service benefits, medical screenings and appointments, orientation to the U.S., enrollment of children in school and many other resources. Amanda also provides all pre-arrival services.
Yaza Swe

Yaza works as a caseworker for clients seeking employment as well as clients who are receiving reception and placement services. Yaza assists clients in finding and retaining employment as well as receiving services that will aid them in becoming self sufficient.
Dianna Mackintosh

Dianna serves as the co-coordinator of the Reception and Placement Program and oversees the caseworkers. In addition, Dianna supervises the services provided to minor clients and those who have special medical needs and other concerns that require intensive case management services.
James Budden

James works with our housing for refugees program. James coordinates the leasing of all apartments, payment of rent and the donations and purchase of supplies to furnish the apartments. James supervises the housing specialists who set up each apartment for the arrivals of new refugee clients.

Employment Mini Bus Drivers
Exodus' dedicated bus drivers are on the road many hours each week. Due to public transportation challenges in employment, Exodus purchases and now operates a minibus. The goal of the bus program is to assist newly arrived refugees with transportation to work for their first few months in the U.S. until they are able to arrange their own transportation.

Laurie's responsibilities are to keep the office running smoothly. She is the cheerful voice that answers the phone Monday thru Friday from 9 am to 3 pm. Laurie handles all calls for donations and also assists with managing volunteers.
